The residents of Williamsburg Landing Assisted Living have been tapping into their creativity and love of writing with the community’s Short Story Club.
The club members meet regularly to discuss writing techniques, share drafts for constructive feedback, and celebrate each other’s stories. The positive and supportive environment empowers residents to explore their creativity and develop their writing skills while also building strong bonds with their fellow residents.
“It’s amazing watching our residents pour their hearts and souls into their stories,” says Sonja Jorgensen, an Administrator at Williamsburg Landing Assisted Living. “Our residents have a wealth of experiences and unique perspectives. The Short Story Club allows them to share their voices and connect through the power of storytelling.”
